Getting there
Daily domestic flights are available from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. A flight will take 50 minutes. From Kuala Terengganu Airport to Merang the journey is approximately 35 minutes in a local taxi.

Visitors can also get to Kuala Terengganu from most major cities by road; Penang (490km), Kuala Lumpur (460km) or Singapore (550km). Large comfortable coach services are available in all the major cities.

At Merang, our representative will guide you to our resort boat for a 35-40minutes ride to Redang Kalong Resort.

Accommodation
38 traditional-styled rooms, each with private ensuites and air-conditioning.

Electricity
220V, using a plug with 3 rectangular prongs similar to British plugs. Power 24 hours a day.

Climate
Equatorial with fairly uniform temperatures from 32 C during the day to 26 C at night. Humidity is high (85-95%)

Dive Season
The diving season opens from March through October. During the monsoon season (between November to February) the resort is closed.

Clothing
Very casual. Light cotton clothing, t-shirts and shorts.
